This secluded hunting tract is located in the middle of the beautiful Kisatchie National Forest. Though the property is approximately 40 acres in size, a buyer would have access to thousands of acres of adjacent public ground.  The timber was harvested over most of the tract this past summer (2023), making the land more affordable.  This leaves a "blank canvas" for the new owner to do with as he or she pleases.  Prepare the site and reforest it for a commercial timber crop or landscape it for wildlife, creating an oasis that could attract deer and turkeys from the vast national forest.  Timber was left on approximately 6.5 acres, along the creek, as a streamside management zone.  This should provide cruising bucks with a travel corridor through the property as they roam from the hills and nearby Dugdemona River bottom in search of does during the rut.

Access to the tract is via a U.S. Forest Service road.  Though it's not deeded, we are considering it to be public access.  The sellers have used this road to reach the property for years and it was used to haul timber out during the recent sale.

Please refer to the Information Sheet for more information about the property and terms of the sale.
